Description

Connect the gray(+) and gray/black wires(-) to the right speaker output, and the white(+) and white/black stripe(-) to the left speaker output. If the radio’s speaker outputs have only one negative lead, connect both negative wires to it. With the logo facing up, the left RCA jack is the left channel. Connect the brown wires to ground only if there is no sound coming from the amplifier. To adjust, set the radio’s volume to 2/3 full, and adjust pots clockwise to increase the volume level.

Use the converter when adding an amplifier to a factory radio. It converts the radio’s speaker level output to the amplifier’s (RCA) lower level input, and uses audio transformers for noise isolation. This adjustable line output converter is phase-adjusted and has 0.5 dB linearity from 20-20,000 Hz. It also rolls off below 20 Hz for subsonic reduction. Both channels are adjustable and reduce the radio output to the best amplifier input level. It’s used for radio with 2-40 watts (RMS) of output.
